Welcome to the National Promotion page of HighSchoolStage.com.
This page is designed to introduce you to the site
and to answer any questions you may have about the site
and it's purpose.
INTRODUCTION
My name is
Keith Bogle and the
I am the man behind the development of
HighSchoolStage.com. This site was first developed
for free use by the high schools in my hometown of
Murfreesboro, TN., as a central site to post and
advertise their stage events to the public. To view that
site, please click the link below -
www.highschoolstage.com/Murfreesboro
Just as quickly as the original
Murfreesboro site developed, the idea to make it
available to individual high schools (as well as towns)
across the nation came to mind, so I am now offering
this site in two forms:
1) A "YourSchool" site for individual schools
(click
HERE for a sample site).
2) A "YourTown" site for multiple schools
(Click
HERE to see the Murfreesboro site).

Here are some anticipated
FAQ's. |
► Who's eligible for a site?
Any high school, public or private, is eligible. So long
as you have an on campus stage area with student led
performances open to the public.
► What do you consider a
"stage event"?
A stage event can be anything from a play to a fashion
show. So long as it is:
• school sanctioned
• student led
• open to the public
► But my school already has
a web site and I post our events there.
If that's the case, good point. Even if you
already have a web presence through your schools site,
perhaps a "highschoolstage.com/YourSchool"
or a "highschoolstage.com/YourTown" site
will enhance your groups presence in the community
further.
I've seen alot of school
sites and it's been my experience that many of them
don't have the resources to maintain them properly and
keep them up-to-date with everything going on. Whether
it be a man-power, software, hardware or a time issue,
it just doesn't happen. And these are ALL
good schools with good teachers and administrators, it
just happens that [I imagine] maintaining a school wide
web site can be cumbersome and often the resources
simply aren't available. That being said, that doesn't
mean that school groups have to "go without" when it
comes to a good web presence like you can have with a "highschoolstage.com/YourSchool"
or a "highschoolstage.com/YourTown"
site.
► What's the
difference in a "YourSchool" site versus a "YourTown"
site?
A "YourSchool" site is for your school
and your school alone. At your "YourSchool" site you can
post any stage event occurring at your school from any
and every department, whether it be a play, a choral
presentation, a fashion show, or whatever. Click
HERE for sample site.
A "YourTown" site is the
same as a "YourSchool" site except that it
not only lists your school and it's events, but all
participating high schools in your town and their
events. This was the initial idea
when I first created this site for my hometown schools
and offered it free of charge (with a "sponsors" page).
Click
HERE to see the Murfreesboro site. This is a great
way to share your stage schedule with other schools and
your town! Your school will only pay
for it's postings, and other schools will pay for
theirs.
► What do I get with a site?
1)
You get your own "highschoolstage.com/YourSchool"
or "highschoolstage.com/YourTown"
web address. To keep things simple for me and cost
effective for you, I use the same template for each site
(see samples). Once you have your site
established, you can share your easy-to-remember web
address whenever you want from memory, post a link at
your schools main page or embed a link in your e-mails!
2) A recent feature I've
added is an "E-mail Updates" feature. This was
added after I realized that without an alert system, the
whole concept of "HighSchoolStage.com" was just a web
site. With this added feature, interested parties
can sign-up for e-mail updates so they will be made
aware of EVERY upcoming high school stage event at your
school or in your
town as soon as it's posted here. The "E-mail Updates"
feature is optional and costs a little more.
(NOTE: If you received a
promotional e-mail prior to September 26th with costs
included, the cost has changed with this optional added
feature.)
3) A "High School Stage"
icon to use at your school site.
► How can I get more
information on how to register my high school
and/or town?
High school teachers and school administrators can
acquire complete information on registration and event
posting costs by using the form below.
* LIMITED TIME OFFER: If you
received a promotional e-mail from me,
your web address and your first event posting is FREE with no obligation!
|
In
the event you have any
difficulties using the
form,
feel free to e-mail me
at: highschoolstage@gmail.com
NOTE: If you use the form or send an e-mail and you don't receive a reply back within 24-72 hours, please resend. Unfortunately e-mail's sometimes get lost in cyberspace and I don't want to miss your e-mail.
Be advised I share registration information with school address's ONLY.
